Make it Monday #43 Ribbon Pleating

I am making a card set for my mom for Christmas and decided to make one using this weeks Make it Monday challenge for Papertrey Ink.
On this card I used Luxe pattern paper, aqua mist cardstock cut with Tag Sale #5 die, Berry Sorbet ribbon and cardstock, Dollie Details die, Daydreamer stamps and the sentiment is from Gracious Vases and I just curved it onto my stamp press so it fit around the circle.

Make it Monday #42 - take 2

My second attempt at this weeks challenge uses Botanical Silhouettes stamp set, gracious vases, pure poppy cardstock and ink, as well as bakers twine.

For this weeks challenge at Papertrey Ink I used the Harvest Berries stamp set with turquoise gem and aquatic splash ink from Versamagic. The sentiments were stamped from botanical silhouettes, think big favorites, gracious vases and mat stack 2.

Papertrey Ink September Blog Hop

Here is the card I created for this months Blog Hop at Papertrey Ink. I used Harvest Gold, Simply Chartreuse, Hawaiian Shores, and Sweet Blush cardstock. I stamped with my Gracious Vases and Daydreamer stamp sets from PTI. As well I used one of the dies from their Half and Half collection. The Harvest Gold paper was embossed using a folder from Stampin Up!.

Stamping with Acrylic Paint.


For this weeks challenge I used my Boy Basics: Simple Circles stamp set from Papertrey Ink. I stamped the image using Making Memories acrylic paint in Evergreen. I used brown cardstock as well as Ocean Tides and Ripe Avocado cardstock from Papertrey Ink. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Papertrey Ink Make it Monday Challenge #30


For this challenge I used pencil crayons to color in the skateboards I die cut using Boy Basics: Skater dude die and stamped over the colored image with the coordinating stamp. I used Orange Zest cardstock which I stamped with Grunge Me stamps and Pumpkin Pie ink. The sentiment is from the Boy Basics: Skater Dude stamp set.

MIM #27 attempt 2


For the ribbon I used white satin ribbon and plum pudding Copic colored markers. I also used limitless layers dies, tag it stamps, and plum pudding cardstock.

Make it Monday #27 Copic Stripped Ribbon



Fro the ribbon technique is used twill ribbon and designed the stripes with Copic markers from the Poppy Red Trio colors. The card design is a lift from a card designed by Betsy Veldman that I fell in love with. I used pattern paper from Lilly Bee designs and vintage cream cardstock. I also used Love Lives Here and Half and Half dies, as well as Think Big Favorites stamp set from Papertrey Ink.

Make it Monday #25 - second attempt

For this card I used fresh snow ink to colour in the butterflies I made from Melon Berry cardstock using my Martha Stewart butterfly punch and stamp set. I also used plum pudding cardstock, Half and Half die and stamps, as well as pattern paper from fancy pants.

I used my Sweet As Can Be Die and Stamp set from Papertrey Ink. I coloured the outline of each ice cream cone with fresh snow ink. I also used the limitless layers die, orange zest and Melon Berry cardstock from Papertrey Ink, October Afternoon pattern paper and Island Indigo cardstock from Stampin Up.

Make It Monday attempt #2



For my second attempt I dry brushed the sides of the cream cardstock with gray paint. I used My Minds Eye Hattie collection patterned paper, Half and Half, By the Numbers and Label Basics dies from Papertrey Ink. I also used the Grunge Me splatter stamp from Papertrey Ink.

For my first attempt at this weeks challenge I dry brushed white paint onto Island Indigo cardstock from Stampin Up and stamped a Hero Arts Flourish in Fresh Snow Ink from Papertrey. The flowers are stamped using the Daydreamer stamp set from Papertrey and I made the white die cut using my new Half and Half die from Papertrey Ink. The sentiment is from the Half and Half stamp set. The ink I used is Delightful Daffodil, Island Indigo and Calypso Coral from Stampin Up!

I used the multicolor technique on the sprigs in the background. For this card I used Larger than Life, Daydreamer and Mat Stack 2 stamps from Papertrey Ink. I also used Ocean Tides and Pure Poppy cardstock,  and Dotti Biscotti patterned paper from Papertrey as well.

I made this card for a good friend who is moving into a new house. I used a Hero Arts stamp for the house. The cardstock is Hawaiian Shores, pure poppy button and kraft twine from Papertrey Ink.

MIM Papertrey Ink Attempt #2




For my second attempt at this weeks challenge, I adhered blue tissue paper to white cardstock and used my Simple Circles border die. I then stamped the die cut using the Simples Circles stamp set with pure poppy and Hawaiian shores ink. I also used the Grunge Me stamp set as well as fillable frames #4 die and stamp set.

MIM for Papertrey Ink Attempt #1



For this card I adhered white tissue paper to brown cardstock and used my seeing stars die to cut the star. I also adhered blue tissue paper to pattern paper and cut out the smaller stars with a 1/2" circle punch. The pattern paper is from My Minds Eye true blue collection.

Cracked Glass for the MIM Papertrey Ink Challenge


This is the card I designed for the Make it Monday challenge at Papertrey Ink. I incorporated the cracked glass technique onto the flower I made using my Beautiful Blooms #2 die and Raspberry Fizz cardstock. I also used the Larger than Life and Signature Greetings stamp set.

A card for the Papertrey Blog Hop

The monthly Blog Hop is taking place today at Papertrey Ink, so I thought I would take part for the first time.




The challenge is to use a flower on your card. I used Kraft cardstock, Dotti Biscotti pattern paper, fillable frames # 8 for the die and stamp, Raspberry Fizz cardstock and felt, flower fusion # 1 die. Thanks for looking!
